Looks like volcanic activity has been a feature of this planet’s history. A huge cone rises up from the floor with mountainous walls and a massive crater. It’s hard to see into the crater because of the constant clouds of swirling vapour. Could anything live on the crater floor, would it have been cut off from the rest of the planet? Would any creatures there have evolved separately or could it be a refuge for ancient species wiped out elsewhere on the surface?
